Solve problems like our brain does

The format came first, and it was wrong

Lists, documents, and folders are storage formats. They were designed to be filed and retrieved, not to be thought in. A list puts everything in one order and hides the fact that most of the items are related to each other.

Thinking is a shape

A plan, a problem, and a life are all networks. Parts branch, connect back, and change weight over time. When you can see that shape, the next move is usually obvious. When you cannot, you keep re-deriving it from memory.

One surface, no ceiling

The canvas is infinite on purpose. There is no point at which a thought is too large or too small for it. Every bubble opens into a workspace with notes, tasks, graphs, and images, so detail lives inside structure instead of beside it.

Your web stays yours

A map of how you think is personal material. The Bubble Web is built to be private by default, and it should stay useful whether or not anyone else ever sees it.

If you have ever drawn a diagram on paper to figure something out, you already know the idea.
